Winnipeg, Manitoba, May 28, 2026 – Multi-Material Stewardship Manitoba Inc. (MMSM) is pleased to announce changes to its Board of Directors, effective May 28, 2026.
MMSM welcomes three new directors to its Board:
- Barry Prentice, Professor, Supply Chain Management, I.H. Asper School of Business, University of Manitoba
Independent Director - Jillian Rodak, Vice President, Sustainability, Restaurants Canada
Restaurants Canada Representative - Michael Woelcke, Retired
Independent Director
Barry Prentice and Michael Woelcke join the Board as independent directors, following the retirement of Gary Goodwin. Jillian Rodak joins as the Restaurants Canada representative, replacing Kris Barnier.
The Board will benefit from the experience and expertise these directors bring as MMSM continues to support Manitoba’s residential recycling system and prepare for the transition to full Extended Producer Responsibility.
MMSM’s Board of Directors consists of seven directors representing producers and three independent directors. The Board provides governance and strategic oversight to support MMSM’s mandate and the continued success of Manitoba’s recycling system.
