The 2025 Annual Producer Meeting (APM) was held on Thursday, October 16.
The 2025 APM included updates on the extended producer responsibility programs for packaging and paper, along with 2026 budgets and fees for Multi-Material Stewardship Manitoba (MMSM); Circular Materials in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Alberta and the Yukon; SK Recycles and Recycle BC. Additionally, as the program winds up at the end of 2025, Stewardship Ontario provided a final update to stewards.

New Agreements
As of January 1, 2026, the Producer Services Agreement will replace the current MMSM Rules. All existing producers will need to ensure they have a completed agreement prior to 2026 reporting.
